This is the official website of BBC’s Planet Earth II. I used this source for information about one of Sir David Attenborough’s most recent documentaries. The many clips about the production of Planet Earth II helped me to relate with David Attenborough and interpret many of his decisions relating to documentary making.

Life on Air: Memoirs of a Broadcaster

Attenborough, David. Life on Air: Memoirs of a Broadcaster. BBC, 2002.

This is an autobiography about Sir David Attenborough’s experiences as a broadcaster. This book details his life as a broadcaster for the BBC. In this book, I found details of his work in the BBC, especially his early positions.

The Life of Mammals

Attenborough, David. The Life of Mammals. BBC Books, 2007.

This is a book written by Sir David Attenborough. It is about the mammals of planet earth. I used this book to research Attenborough’s writing style. His writing in this book is similar to his writing in his documentaries, and I mimicked this writing style in the creation of my speech.

Planet Earth II

This is one of Sir David Attenborough’s most recent documentary series. It shows the lives of a wide variety of creature on this planet. I primarily used this documentary series to help practice my accent for my learning center.

Frozen Planet

This is an older documentary series than Planet Earth II but still one of Sir David Attenborough’s most recent documentary series. This documentary series shows the lives of different animals that live on or around ice. I primarily used this documentary series to help practice my accent for my learning center.
